"Fragments Of War" maps out the roots of old-school EBM in combination with modern elements of industrial dance-electronics. Subdued vocals and textured atmospheres figure strongly on the whole sound - creating a refreshing, minimalistic approach that channels slow-burning aggression with bristling energy to great effect. Firmly rhythmic, dark in design and futuristic in concept (despite the overall theme) - "Fragments Of War" offers layers of tightly programmed electronics, metallic sequences, sampled / vocoded vocals and brooding synths on an intelligently executed EBM template.
