Less than one year after the release of the acclaimed "Horizon
Born" EP and the "Trilogy" compendium, German electromeister
FADERHEAD, aka Sami Mark Yahya, is back with his most ambitious
project to date: "Black Friday".
The sixteen-song conceptual album tells the story of a Friday
night gone wrong, from the end of the working day, to the fun in
the clubs to the inevitable crash and all the chaos in between.
With "Black Friday", FADERHEAD continues pumping out the
guaranteed awesomeness that his legion of fans have come to
expect, upping the ante yet again with his infectious melodies,
emotional lyrics, and the powerful trademark beats that have
been destroying club floors worldwide since FH1.
As to any good party, FADERHEAD has brought along some friends
for the ride, including guest vocalists Chris Pohl (of
BLUTENGEL/TERMINAL CHOICE), Ted Phelps (of IMPERATIVE REACTION)
and fellow L-Tracks artist Shaolyn (of FACE DOWN). Sami also
went all out and shot a fifteen-minute short movie (including a
cameo appearance by Steve Naghavi of AND ONE) that visualizes
the story and incorporates tracks from the new album. The video
