After their successful debut "Twilight" released
in 2001 (on NAPALM Records), which caused a big
sensation among the dark goth audience, the
project around Oliver Falk over the years slowly
evolved from pure gothic into a darkelectro band,
that was not afraid to infuse some heavy
guitarsounds.
Musically speaking, the all new album "Narben der
Zeit" (Scars of Time) sounds quite harder and
faster than the debut 'Twilight'. Electronic beats
are dashing with metal drums and quite impressive
walls of guitars.
Again the lead vocals are ranging between clear,
heavenly female vocals and more distorted spoken
parts.
"Narben der Zeit" all in all is a refreshing, new
combination of proven essences, offering at the
same time a full set of contrasts to mere
gothic/electro textures with a lot of alternations
and hidden refinements in the sound! An
excellently written, played and mastered album!
