5th chapter! Especially compiled for all the band's hardcore
fans who helped to make Claus Larsen's return to the stage in
2009 so unforgettable, the Danish artist dedicates to them this
diversified collection of some 27 exclusive rarities.
And believe us this collection is definitely special enough to
be released on Claus Larsen's birthday... A splendid double CD
fan box which LEAETHER STRIP kick off with nine early demo songs
from the 80s - Claus Larsen's first works ever! Add to this some
special previously unreleased studio recordings of songs he has
been playing live this year, such as "Kill a Fµtish", "╞ighty
╞ight (US mix) and the killer new version of "Don't Tame Your
Soul". We also get the special live intros he wrote for his
shows in Cologne and Gothenburg.
Other highlights include the very engaging "The Bears Aren't
Sleeping Tonight", the intimate "Love Me or Die", the synthetic
layers of the aptly titled "Fluidity" (a tribute to JEAN-MICHEL
JARRE) and the next club hit and future new "AE" classic
"Compassion". A total of nine totally new and unreleased
tracks.
As if this were not enough, Claus Larsen also reveals a bunch of
collaborations and remix work by bands like DIE KRUPPS, PROJECT
PITCHFORK, AUTODAFEH, etc. As always, Larsen outdoes himself to
offer 'the best of the best' to his cherished and faithful
fanbase who have become an inherent part of the unique universe
of LEAETHER STRIP, hovering between raging powerful dark elektro
and moody melodic dark synths. The collection also features
eye-catching artwork designed by American artist Evi Numenà
