"Ritualist" is the second album by Midnight Passage. The minimalism of their debut, "Sleepwalker", has transformed into a dense, reverb-shrouded sound. It explores inner duality, dark folklore, and distorted reality, becoming a bleak ritual of burying the past and a desperate attempt to resurrect what is already dead. Canonical coldwave fuses with elements of industrial, shoegaze, and post-punk revival, expanding the boundaries of the genre. Vintage drum machines, a thick, sinister bass, synths, and guitars drowning in an abyss of echo.
