Lizzie In My Bed is a new duo composed of Silvia Marton (vocals) and Marco Fontolan (guitars, all other instruments) from Treviso, Italy. Formed by ex members of Kill Your Boyfriend, Cabaret Du Ciel and Kitsune, the duo fuses elements of postpunk, synthwave, dark jazz, including influences from artists like The Cure, Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, My Bloody Valentine, Curve, post-punk/shoegaze atmosphere mixed with electronic sounds influenced by bands like Kraftwerk, New Order, Kompromat, also offering an oniric, dreamlike imaginary often inspired by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti’s work. After spending lots of time writing, recording and mixing the tracks with Tommaso Mantelli (Sick Tamburo, Teatro Degli Orrori, Captain Mantell), they are about to release their 8 tracks debut album through Swiss Dark Nights, and in support of the album they plan to play some concerts that will be announced soon. The first song from the album is “Blue Screen”, with a video directed by Vittorio Demarin, and another video for “Red Cream” is going to be launched when the album is released.
