“Oh, how I miss the sea!” – The Sea was written during an extended touring break for Alienare and is a song about longing and a deep love for the ocean. Yet the sea also serves as a symbol for what the band truly missed most: their fans. Written as a metaphor for this special connection, the song immediately resonated with listeners, many of whom have chosen The Sea as their favorite since April 2025 — and the calls for a CD release kept growing louder. Alienare now answer that call by releasing The Sea on CD for the very first time. At the same time, the new standalone single Flood of Emotions will be released digitally on the same day and is also included on this physical edition — an emotional addition that continues the theme of longing. The absolute highlight for collectors: The Sea (Live in Hannover) is available exclusively on this CD and captures the raw energy of Alienare’s live performances.
