Collide O Scope is a tribute to all the musical influences that have shaped Sister Medusa's sound. This was the primary reason the album took so long to complete...over two years. We wanted to represent 40+ years of dark music. We threw all the genres that influenced us, everything from New Wave, Gloom Rock, Musical Theater, Goth, Shoegaze, etc. into a drink shaker and came up with about 20 songs. We then systematically worked our way back to 9 songs. A lot of good stuff hit the cutting room floor. Some of the references might be very oblique, but they are there. It is a Collision of so much that we love musically. Thus "Collide O Scope"!!
