Following
the overwhelming success of the single “Farben” and the acclaimed 2024
album “Feuer & Flamme”, Orange Sector return with a very special
project: “Reworx.”
But
anyone expecting a conventional remix album will be in for a surprise.
“Reworx” is far more than that – it is a creative playground where
befriended artists and bands reinterpret the music of Orange Sector in
their own distinctive ways. Instead of straightforward remixes, the
album presents reinterpretations, sonic transformations, and unique
collaborations that cast familiar songs in an entirely new light.
Among
the contributing artists are renowned names from the scene such as NZ,
Funker Vogt, Emmon, Rob Dust, Zweite Jugend, Aircrash Bureau, Rotoskop,
ELM, Tension Control and Lis van den Akker – each bringing their own
signature sound and creative vision to the table.
The
result is 16 (!) outstanding tracks that shine through creativity,
originality, and freshness. Some versions push the energy of the
originals even further, while others reveal previously hidden emotional
and sonic layers. Familiar songs unfold in unexpected ways – sometimes
more dancefloor-driven, sometimes darker, sometimes intriguingly
experimental.
“Reworx”
is therefore much more than a remix collection. It is a tribute to the
music of Orange Sector, a creative dialogue between artists, and a
fascinating demonstration of how versatile strong songs can be.
