November Növelet return with their formidable fourth album. Electricity here is not treated as a theme, but as a condition. Not presented as a technical phenomenon, but as the metaphysical foundation of existence – a universal force that invisibly connects and permeates everything. The music follows this principle with electrifying results: we hear Mrs. Arafna, the signature NN synth tones, synthetic drums from various sources, carefully placed metal percussion, tape experiments, and ghostly voices. These are the ingredients of hauntingly beautiful compositions – some danceable, others stretching time to a standstill. Varied yet cohesive, the album unfolds into a resonant whole. Despite its depth and transparency, the mix remains LoFi – nothing is polished or pristine, which only enhances the morbid, shadowy allure of Electrical. Electricity wasn’t enough to light the dark. Don’t turn on the light – press play.
