Ice Planet 9000's 3rd album. 8 tracks, over 2 hours of intricate and evocative Dark Ambient soundscapes spread across 2 CDs. This is an exploration into long form Dark Ambient Music. It is rich, complex profoundly visual. Containing 8 tracks, over 2 hours of music spread across 2 CDs. Accompanied by hand painted celestial sci-fi artwork. The eight tracks vary in length from 8 to nearly 40 minutes. They started as live improvisations - no scripts, going with the flow. It was a completely new and liberating way to write. The album is designed to be played live - just me and the synthesizers, no sequencers or laptops. Inspiration came from the 70’s sound of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Steve Roach and Michael Stearns. Several tracks also feature Blaster Beam, a 6 foot piece of aluminum with 11 piano wires resonating from subsonic to celestial frequencies, creating massive drones and sonic textures.
