And though Dream Into It tells a story, it's also a thoroughly satisfying old-school/new-school punk/pop odyssey from track to track in the way that only Billy Idol and his longtime guitarist/collaborator Steve Stevens, with the able assistance of producer Tommy English and features with rock experts Joan Jett and Alison Mosshart, can pull off.
