Having been a decade since Toxikk Deception's creation, Artificial Intelligence Warfare is a diverse album that fuses multiple genres: aggrotech, goth, and future pop. Both distorted and clean vocals are mixed with mechanical beats, brooding melodies, and aggrotech bass lines. Taking some influence from electronicore music, guitars are once again introduced in "Conundrum" and "Sink". Fans of Clan of Xymox will fall in love with “Cursed,” while experienced Toxikk Deception listeners will appreciate the intensity of “Beast” and “Conundrum,” at the same time hearing female vocals from Kimberly of Bow Ever Down in "Leech" and “Inhuman.” Artificial Intelligence Warfare proves that Toxikk Deception is a competent force in multiple subgenre.
