Dina Summer are back with a vengeance! The international trio, a collaborative project of Greco-German couple Local Suicide and Bavarian producer Kalipo, are set to return with a new remix LP and an album reissue following the thundering release of their critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Rimini’.
Released last year on Audiolith, the album promptly sold out and received rave reviews for its effortless and refreshing blend of Italo, New Wave, Punk and Electroclash influences. Described as “the perfect summer album” and “a magnificent guilty pleasure”, it was featured in high-profile international publications such as FAZE, Groove, Tsugi, DJ Mag, and played on radio stations all over the world. The album reissue will also be accompanied by the ‘Versioni Discoteca’ LP. This sweeping new release features an exclusive track, as well as longer club versions of the album originals, now out on vinyl for the first time ever.
