| 'ROOTS' is classic dark electro, ebm style sequences with an injection of post-industrial noise and an omnipresent tribal tone in strictly 118 bpm. 'roots' is conceptual release, addressing the oppression, exploitation and eradication of indigenous peoples by the western world. instead we should all learn and get inspired by the culture and social values of indigenous people and their relationship to nature. this is a primeval journey to the roots of four tribes and the result are four superbly crafted songs, respectfully inspired, collected and melted into BLAC KOLOR's sound universe. track 1 'HAKA' is based on the percussive wardance of the maori in new zealand. song 2 'TETON' is named after a prominent subculture of the sioux people, carrying traditional chants in a technoid groove. song 3 'UJUNBATER' is dedicated to the highest shaman of the buryats (mongolia) and their famous throat singing. track 4 'KECAK' is a modern form of an ancient balinese trance dance sanghyang.
black is not a color. black is the mixture of all the colors - or the absence of light. the control about the effects is entirely in the hand of one. the fight about their predominance is a battle in a different cosmos.
