It’s two years since Wires & Lights released their debut album “A Chasm Here and Now”, topping the German Alternative Charts (DAC) for three weeks in the process. There was another song recorded during those album sessions that has never been released - until now: “Mayday”, a desperate call for help into the ether, proved to be eerily prophetic of things to come. Frontman Justin Stephens explains: “At the time we recorded it, we obviously could never have predicted what would happen to the world, but the call of ‚Mayday‘ has never felt as relevant as it does now.” “Mayday” is accompanied by three brand new remixes of the band’s earlier singles, with Ash Code, The Foreign Resort and TRAITRS reimagining “Drive”, “Swimming” and “Sleepers” respectively.
