In history of mankind many attempts have been made to prolong the enjoyment of a perfect thing. They always failed. With one exception: In the 80s, 12" versions of songs were created, which not only extended, but enriched, varied and deconstructed them.
For some inexplicable reason these 12" mixes have died out and have been replaced by faceless remixes in a multipack.
But rescue is near, in the form of a double album with exclusive 12" versions!
The underlying magic formula is 5=2+3+4x12", which is mathematically close to the conspiracy theory, but makes sense musically.
Because Purwien & Kowa have lengthened the biggest and smallest hits of the albums Zwei, Drei und Vier not with - in their case highly unsuitable - hair extension, but with the spirit of the 80s. This electro-pop retrospective is crowned by a brand-new 12 "version of the Second Decay classic I hate Berlin, which was beamed by a DeLorean into the 80s.
Why the album is released on Christmas Eve remains a secret of the band. At least for those who don't know the previous EP Normal or the phenomenal 80's podcast Disko 80 by Purwien & Kowa.
