Advance-Goths Gotterdammerung. Their style is a truly unique
combination of Gothic / Postpunk and noise influences from The
Sisters Of Mercy, Siouxsie, Big Black and Sonic Youth amongst
others. An exciting mixture of guitars and well programmed
electronics delivered in a 'Contemporary Vintage-Goth' style that
has been perfected on this new album! brought to perfection on

"Warhorse" is an impressive and opulent opener to this
rollercoster ride into anthracite darkness: "The Prow", this
unexpected and more than convincing Voivod cover version, shows
yet again how little they think of blinkers in their art:
"Vibroboy" is this record's dancefloor super-hit from the
bleakest deep comes "Oblivion", the secret hit of "Of Whores And
Culture", with its tasteful 80's quote suggests some kind of
reconciliation towards the end, which, alas, is not reached with
this album's official tail light, the beautiful, harmonious and
dragging "Infiltrate". All in all a fantastic and diverse album
of an incomparable and grown-up band that doesn't accept any
genre borders. With their sound, lyrics and visuals
Gotterdammerung manage to bring a certain kind of coolness back
into Goth...
