The Brand New album from Leipzig based act The Galan Pixs slightly dispenses with the more electronically enhanced sounds of their previous album "Boredom International" for a more hard and rockier edge. That said "Introducing The Band" does offer quite a diverse collection of musical styles: from the all out dark rock of album opener "Major League Whores" to the calmer, chilled beauty of "Under The Milkyway" and the more electronic / Techno sounding "Lights Go Down In Germany".
