The Violent Youth are a german/russian Synth Pop duo from Augsburg, Germany, consisting of Arthur Tsymbal (Vocal, Synthesizers) and Egor Ivakhnenko (Synthesizer).
They construct melancholic 1980s-inspired synth-pop music. 2014 released their first Album “Loud” and played their first Liveshows in Belarus und Russia.
With their second Album - Discotheque, TVY changed their sound. The sound got darker, the lyrics deeper. After “Discotheque” was released, TVY played at the one of the biggest Belarusian music festivals “FSP” und the first European live shows in Germany and Belgium.
With their new album “Distant” The Violent Youth are going to play their first big European tour to show a brand new analogue sound in their music together with the lyric themes from love to politics.
