Hardly any other band is as consistent in its development as VISIONS IN CLOUDS. The sound lives from the careful lyrics, the energetic bass riffs, which together with the precise drums develop a captivating energy. Surrounded by a guitar that combines the best of Shoe-Gaze, Wave and Post-Punk, a stunning vocal backdrop is created.
Now the band sets the next milestone. After the debut album "Masquerade" produced in Berlin and the EP "levée en masse" (Manic Depression Records) the three musicians present their latest work: "what if there is no way out". The songs are deeper, the songwriting is more exact and sensitive. VISIONS IN CLOUDS remain romantic in their toughness - and prove their sensitivity from beginning to end.
Their album will be released in grey October to coincide with shorter, darker days. The question "What If There Is No Way Out", formulated as a statement, sums up the one-year creative process of the band perfectly. The title of their second studio album invites the listener to deal with this statement during ten songs. The band celebrates their romantic post punk to the last note and asks the question whether having all imaginable possibilities really always means freedom. "What If There Is No Way Out" is a promise, a homage - and a desire for sincerity.
