CHAOS
RISING is a micro-concept album, with the underlying theme of chaos
rising around us as we go about our daily business. Well, that's correct
in one sense; the other is that it tells a story of the future and how
chaos rose, the machines took over and now we are fighting back against
that.
The EP is influenced by bands like Fear Factory, 3TEETH, Ministry and
Skinny Puppy and sounds like guitar driven, clanky, industrialised
machinery with melodic and harmonic undertones and aggressive but
contrasting vocal styles.
The EP uses the poem 'In Flanders Fields' by John
McCrae which was written on the battle fields of WW1, a poem now one
hundred years old.
Artwork for the EP has been done by Vlad McNeally (kallistidesign) who
has done artwork for God Module, Terrolokaust, Rave The Reqviem, SMP,
Coldkill and more.
