The cult is back! ''Mind Over Matter'', last year’s album release, rightfully catapulted the German trio Solitary Experiments to a top position in the Electro scene with a catchy mix of Synth Pop and hard bashing EBM. Unfortunately, both newly won and old fans were in for a lot of frustration trying to get their hands on the group’s early works: “Final Approach”, “Paradox” and “Final Assault.” These were long out of print and only to be found for ridiculously high prices at record collector’s fairs or via online auctions. Now, roughly fifteen years after the band started on its first musical endeavours, these three rarities will be back in the shops again: digitally remastered for brilliant sound quality, with a completely new and deluxe artwork design, and unreleased tracks and remixes … the musical history of Solitary Experiments arrives in the here and now. With their roots in hard EBM and a good feeling for memorable melodies, the guys managed to find their very own pigeonhole in the Electro genre. This is music that pounds forward with pressurized beats and loads of aggression, while never ignoring the need for a catchy tune and honest emotions. Whereas most other groups seem to believe that they have to decide between feelings and aggression, Dennis Schober and Co. have discovered early enough that their music will hit the hardest when they combine both.
