"An Inexact Science" is an ethereal opus consisting of a vast array of musical influences and textures, featuring medieval and renaissance instruments such as dulcimer, lute and recorder, to swirling vortices of effect soaked guitar mayhem. All of this is crowned with the mesmerizing vocals of Naomi Henderson. "An Inexact Science" is the result of the co-mingling of various seemingly disparate technologies: medieval strings, vintage guitar effects and tape gear, sampler, laptop etc. The outcome is a cohesive whole that goes from delicate and acoustic one moment, to serenely ambient the next, punctuated by occasional blasts of inner turmoil. Crowd favourites within Australia's growing Goth / Industrial scene, these recordings were honed whilst recently touring across seven European countries and range from beautifully delicate passages to dance inducing grooves.
