Although their "Breaking The Void" album is still hot on the dance
floors across the globe, the unstoppable sound machine of STUDIO-X vs.
SIMON CARTER hits back straight again with a new 8-track EP! The
winning team of UK Hardcore/Breakbeat artist/DJ Simon Carter and EBM
Dance project STUDIO-X's Lawrie Masson chose the hard dance, epic,
techno track "Frozen" for their new EP. The club mix of this song is
simply amazing, with its catchy clubby vibe. The title track is also
featured in alternative remixed versions by XP8, with a flowing bouncy
bass line, and by reADJUST with different lyrics and a straight up
Electro-Body-Trance feel…A pleasant surprise from the duo is that this
new 8-track EP offers 2 new exclusive non-album tracks, firstly the
upbeat EDM track "The City" with its hypnotising vocals, and "Shine",
another DAFT PUNKesque oldskool analogue tune. Label mates from
Singapore, COSMIC ARMCHAIR, deliver a DJ friendly electronic dance mix
of the wonderful synth-pop song "Reasons", while the EP is superbly
rounded off by an EQAVOX remix of "Particles Of Love" giving the track a
retro synth/chiptune work-over which should please all fans of
MIND.IN.A.BOX…
