If they're remixing names like Converter and Iszoloscope, you know there's going to be some heavy hitting. This promotional demo comes from Ad暇er新ary, a new addition to the Canadian industrial scene. And like fellow Canadian act Iszoloscope, they manage to bring something new to the noise scene. This album has its share of dancefloor hits, but these are mixed with sprawling, lush tracks that add something missing from most new powernoise artists. Finally, the time has come! Immediately after the release of the "Out of Line Festival" DVD (which included some live clips of Hocico) fans started to feverishly demand the release of a complete show from the legendary Mexican Harsh Electro duo. Little wonder, as the Hardfloor-Electro pioneers enjoy the reputation of being one of the best live bands in the scene (on CD, Hocico's music obviously lacks the visual component and impact of a frenetic Erk Aicrag, drenched in sweat, giving his very last bit of energy as if his life were depending on it). Nerve Filter is the instrumental side project of Assemblage 23's Tom Shear. Originally created back in 1995 in an effort to break a bout with writer's block, Nerve Filter was a drastic departure from the sound of Assemblage 23.
