Founded in Brisbane, Australia, in 1993, Tycho Brahe produces electronic pop music that harks back to the '80s glory days of synthpop luminaries such as New Order, Human League, Depeche Mode, and Giorgio Moroder. A regular fixture on their local live music scene, the band uses vintage electronic gadgetry to defiantly produce danceworthy rockin' synth tunes with a blatant disregard for the latest fads and fashions in the FM pop fodder world. The new album "Atlantic" is the band's first release on Cohaagen, and is the follow up to their critically lauded debut album "Cassiopeia" (2000) and the remix album "Tasty" (2001), and captures the band's gamut of styles, from uptempo classic synthpop, to moody atmospherics, to grinding synth rock. "Atlantic" contains eleven new superbly produced recordings including a cover version of the Human League's classic "Marianne", and also includes as a bonus a club remix of the song "Avarice", previously available only as a limited edition Australian single.

New Order/Depeche Mode inspired Australian synthwave band Tycho Brahe brings us their limited edition single entitled "Don't Feel That Way". Featuring remixes by EMP, who is best known for his Human League DJ mixes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Mel C remixes, the 5 track single also includes Tycho Brahe's cover version of the 1975 proto-disco Giorgio Moroder classic "I Wanna Funk With You Tonight". 2006 looks like being a very busy year for Tycho Brahe, with their third album "Atlantic" and plans for a remix album mid-year with mixes from Real Life, Boxcar, Tankt, Ikon, Process Void, and The Garland Cult.

Puracane began as a duo in 1999. Vocalist Ali Rogers and producer David Biegel co-wrote the album 'Things you should leave alone', released by Ubiquity records in 2000.
Ali Rogers decided to take the project from the studio to a live act and in 2000 Puracane played shows with Sting and Duran Duran and in 2001 with Jane's Addiction and Depeche Mode. Puracane's music featured in the films Driven Felicity, Road Rules and Real World.
Today Puracane are Ali Rogers on vocals, Juan Masotta on guitar and electronics, Drew Thurlow on bass, Andrew Griffiths on drums and Brett O'Mara on violin.

Bunker Soldier, an underground electronic music pioneer since 1994, releases his first full length cd since 1999. "The Debris Field" takes his music in a new direction as this cd is the result of 6 months of hard work at the Panhandle House Studios in Denton, Texas with producer Erik Herbst. Erik produced Bunker's EP "Triple Threat." That cd received rave reviews for its' production. "The Debris Field" is a magical audioscape and is flawless in its' production, also. Each song will grab you in with a hook and leave you eagerly anticipating with what's next around the corner. Elements of U2, Coldplay, Moby, Paul Van Dyk and of course, OMD, are found throughout the songs. Bunker Soldier is well known for his hard hitting industrial dancefloor anthems. This cd tends to walk the fine line between synthpop and powerpop. He has never hesitated mixing styles or musical genres since 1996 when he dabbled in hip hop and techno. "The Debris Field" is his best work to date, showcasing his ability to write catchy songs and showing that he is about to break through the underground once and for all.
