DIE BRAUT ('The Bride') release a brand new album on which they
return to their unique sound in order to make music for their
fans again. This would have been impossible without some major
changes in the production process and in the way the band
collaborates with their new label.
"World of Lies" again expresses the point of view of Cris and
Katia on the society they are living in. Just as the first CD
"Unsehbar" has already dealt with political and social issues in
Chile, the new album criticizes politics and corruption, drug
dealing and the arms trade. It is a melancholic symbiosis of
accusation, deep sadness and historical remembrance where DIE
BRAUT deal with Chilean history, their childhood and social
grievances.
But it is not just about fighting or defending - "World of Lies"
tries to find a way out of all these problems through music and
tries to establish peaceful connections to other Latin American
countries in order to overcome all the hate and lies. Let this
be an example throughout the whole world!
