The idea of making a benefit EP for Kurt's medical expences, started out as a fluke, because we were in between songs, on our own forthcoming album and Ole had just stumbled across a weird russian or polish mp3 site, where there was some VERY very old songs, which was poorly mixed and generally not as up to date as what we were hoping for.
So casually hinted as a pile of crap, Ole suggested, that we revisited one of the old songs, which then lead to two more songs from that same era. We figured out, that the songs was from early 2008, when Ole and Dan just started making electronic music. So the production value wasn't great to say the least, but the melodies were still catchy. So we took on the challenge to revisit and completely redo the songs from scratch.
As we were figuring out what to do with these "new" songs, we came across the idea of releasing an EP as a gift from us, so Kurt hopefully can get some of his medical expences covered. So all the revenue from this EP goes directly to Claus and Kurt.
The reason for this, is that Claus has always been there for us as a band. When we need some advice or some help with mastering or just simply doing some great advertising for our little band on facebook. This is our way to give something back to our mentor, friend and everybody's huggy bear.
