A decade after embarking on a musical journey under his own name with
the "Widnes Years", and with already three full length albums released
with his new Nimon project, Keef Baker apparently closes this chapter
with a 17-track strong compilation featuring both old and new material,
solo tracks and remixes he did for other people. "Dry" is a diverse
album, but also one which seems to be a notch darker and more introvert
than most of what Keef Baker has done under his name in the past. It is
in any case a good testimony at this musician's ability at combining
industrial beat works and original melodies, and should be regarded as
an album per se. Recommended.
